This is just me ranting about when people make stupid arguments in a wrestling debate. This video is directed to all of the people who use the argument that TNA had the 4 sided ring before the 6 sided ring, so we should all deal with it.
The analogy in the video between the six-sided ring and things like the TV, microwave oven, airplane and electricity is about WANT. We WANT the 6 sided ring (some of us), just like we would want to have a TV set in our house. Some of us are mad that a certain thing that we "want" is being taken away from us. That's the point I'm trying to make. Is a 6 sided ring an absolute NECESSITY? No. However.... owning a TV set is not a necessity either. We WANT these things. In the end, your still taking away something that people love and want. Some fans loved and wanted to keep the 6 sided ring, just like most people love and want to keep their TV sets or microwave ovens. Don't take away something that people love and want to keep.
By the way, this video is not about the shape of the ring. Some people don't listen. The video is about stupid arguments when debating a certain wrestling topic.

I really dislike the fact that they changed the 6 sides to the 4 sided ring. When TNA had the six sided ring, it gave creativity to there wrestling. More sides, more things, different munevuers etc. Now that both WWE and TNA have 4 sided rings, its gonna make it boring to watch for both shows. Ratings are going to be affected, and people on TNA are gonna feel as tho they r on WWE again, Idk we will just wait and see…

And there’s also the argument “Well TNA is doing this to be more professional”. Yeah because the Attitude Era (the most successful era of wrestling) was VERY professional!
The thing is about the ring is that it helped TNA stand out, and you still had great matches in that ring, some of the best matches of all time took place in that ring.
“Well TNA needs to expand” so I guess the six sided ring hindered their success, while AAA has the same kind of ring and they make more money than TNA & ROH.

While I completely disagree with you Spinner. I still respect your opinion. I thought your analogy of the TV being taken away by the government was a bad analogy. Okay look at it like this, If you take away a six sided ring and get a four sided ring, you still get a wrestling ring. If your tv is taken away by the government and they give you nothing, then you get nothing. See what i mean? Bad analogy! lol
Whatever the case I love the four sided ring, but everyone has their own opinion about it.

I hear you, but the 4 sided ring is far better. It looks far more natural and like an actual wrestling product when guys are having matches. Rope running looked so awkward before. It’s a step in the right direction for TNA and their horseshit ways of running a wrestling company.
