   Sorry, but if you want to worry about high levels of CO2 then try to stop all of the cows from eating grass and farting. Polar bear numbers are rising, glaciers are growing and on and on.
   Nothing wrong with trying to live a greener lifestyle, but this massive threat that Gore and Co. have been pushing is/was to to grab power and manke money. Power being the first choice. Once they have the power to tax anyone anywhere, and they will try for this, the money comes in.

   I’ve actually seen the data used in the previous models, and it was obvious to me that the sample was statistically insignificant, but I never imagined that the data going into the model would be fudged. I hope that a lot of heads roll over this.

   yes go with NASA’s findings…they prove its a cycle of temps going up and own up an down…and going off of “”NASA’s” data yes it was the hottest years….but the question is “since when” …since ever? since 1880? what about 1000? 1000BC? ahhh if you go back then and before SUVs it was just as hot… remember global cooling in the 1970s…everybody thought the ice age was coming…the cycle exists, its natural… its just how you look at the data

    “Conservative ideology” built the greatest nation on earth in record time. Liberalism ruins great countries; Britain, France, Germany, etc. Understand this, capitalism is based on greed. This greed leads to jobs, innovation, competition, and more. The mortgage crisis was caused by deregulating small parts of existing regulation that incentivized corrupt behavior. Greed in capitalism benefits the public. Greed in government benefits a select few at the publics expense.

    Actually I riffed it, but I think you found a stat not accounting for the record levels of re-fi’s, which make up the remaining subprimes. You’re right on points two and three but you miss the point that DE-REGULATION triggered the crisis. It’s not a question of the size of the government but of the quality, integrity, and efficiency. Government needs to regulate/referee or we’ll have the kind of market anarchy that brought about these difficult times. Conservative ideology failed & will again.

    You are wrong about them being indispensable for meteorology and agriculture. Meteorologists not climatologists do the weather. Farmers don’t care about their land 100 years from now they care about the short term. Meteorologists are short term predictors while climatologists study history to try to predict the LONG term.

    I am a “respected scientist” Dan! We should get along better no? Many banks in Massachusetts got sued for not giving loans to people that qualified under the legislation passed in 1993-1997. They were forced to give these loans under federal guidelines and they sold them off as fast as they could, you betcha! They haven’t all fallen through yet. I think many of the people worked hard to keep up the payments but they won’t last. Next few years they will all be foreclosed upon.
