What Does Outstanding ‘the Hermit’ Tarot Card Genuinely Point To?

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009

The news of tarot cards started around the 15th century, a century after cards were introduced in Europe beginning with the rising cities in Italy. The evolution of Tarot as we know it now has a range of stories and legends. The mystical first-class of tarot cards intrigues analyzers, researchers and spiritualists. Tarot cards were fundamental used as game divisions like regular decks, divergent from what we think of tarot cards nowadays, although a indication to Tarot as a set of devil cards was made in 1450. The convention of tarot cards started in Egypt, which is the same civilization that championed astrology.

A typical tarot deck contains 78 cards consisting of the four suits seen in regular card games, which are hearts, diamonds, spades, and clubs. The Latin version of the tarot deck has a different set of suits. They are swords, batons, cups, and coins. Like a regular deck, tarot cards are numbered from one to ten plus the four court cards; jack, queen, king, and ace.

The difference between a tarot deck and the regular deck is the twenty-one divinity cards named Major Arcana. A Joker equivalent in the tarot deck is labeled the fool, or the excuse. The fool may take every one of four suits and acts as the strongest trump card.

Tarot card interpretations are always changing - and they have also differed significantly through time. Present, without regard to, there are common and general card meanings. For example, minor arcana cards as a rule present an astrological meaning that changes along with the seasons of the year. On another side of things, court cards talk of humans and their nature. This nature concerns the physio-emotional traits of a individual.

More specifically, the determinants of a card's meaning are the following: Card Number, chief Number, Rulership (Astrology), Hebrew Letter, Translation, and Numerical Value. The meaning is also determined by the position of the card, whether it is upright or Ill-imposing/Reversed. The difference between peoples' readings is the weights they impose on the various 'statistics' and 'attributes' of the card.

Along with the increasing interpretations to the meaning of tarot cards come new methods for card readers to express the message to the average Joe. Nowadays, face-to-face card readings are being mended by phone and online readings. Per contra, for packed like sardines impact and experience, face-to-face card readings still trump more methods. Face-to-face tarot readings allow the being to select his face-down card, giving him a semblance of control to his fortunes. Face-to-face readings are common in community fairs, parties, and in the ways. The price of a tarot card deciphering varies depending on the popularity of the reader and how much detail the human being wants to know about his destiny.

You can also display a tarot studying done over the phone. If you cannot pinpoint a local human being who does tarot readings or would prefer additional discretion, this may be a gratifying choice. While you should expect a tarot understanding over the phone to be rather expensive, do avoid questionable services charging by the minute. There are reputable tarot card readers who provide readings over the phone for a reasonable flat fee. Some might also offer online readings for a small-scale sum, and provide their interpretation of the cards via email.

Tarot card divination might not be a real science; it might not be as accurate as some members of public would like to believe, but the market for tarot is ever growing through the availability of readings online and in other similar mediums. While this is so, there is still a gigantic demand for face-to-face tarot studying because of the mystique and interactivity. A fair judgment of the industry is that it is growing in its disparate aspects - whether it is face to face, on the phone, or by some additional medium. While society drives itself into a more scientific destination, the appeal of astrology, especially in tarot cards, is still growing fast.

what is the best concept when conducting a one-hour live variety show?

Monday, December 28th, 2009

we will be having a Variety Show at school and i'm having second thoughts on what will be our concept.. this one is a requirement in our MAPEH subject.. everybody out there, kindly help me pls..?

I think one thing is keeping the audiences attention. There are a few ways to do this:

comedy--keeping people laughing is always a plus and will win you points

drama--a nice mixture of drama with an awesome comic relief seems to work welll

characters--make sure the people you place in the same skits can feed off of each other, it may even help if they get along well outside of character too. there is nothing like a great cast working together to create something everyone enjoys

no matter what topics you discuss you can always keep the audiences attention with some crazy antics that bring laughs.

Good Luck

Does any one have a list of good Joker and Harley Quinn comics?

Monday, December 28th, 2009

I've been watching Batman: The Animated Series for a while now and I love the characters of Harley Quinn and The Joker. I just find their twisted relationship fascinating.

I already have Batman: Mad Love and other Stories by Bruce Timm and Paul Dini and would like other books similar to this.

The comics I'm interested in are the 90's ones so if anyone has a list of those it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

What are the original stories behind fairy tales, bedtime stories and nursery rhymes?

Monday, December 28th, 2009

I really find the stories behind the Disney versions and classic Rhymes and children's books interesting, even if most of them are pretty dark! For example, I was told that at the end of the "real" story of The Little Mermaid, the mermaid gains a soul but turns into foam.

What stories do you know? If you have links to online sources that feature them, please use as a source! Thank you!

"Pop Goes the Weasel" dates back to the Black Plague, because the pustules would pop...yeah, that's actually a really gross song.

In "The Hunchback of Notre Dame," pretty much nothing is the same as in the Disney movie. Quasimodo is obsessed with Claude Frollo, because he's like a father to him. He has no desire to go out into the real world. And at the end, Claude Frollo and Esmeralda both die.

Also, it's not true that The Little Mermaid turns into foam. That was what the Sea-witch told her would happen, but she actually turned into an air-fairy. There also was no three-day deadline - she had as long as she wanted, but she had to marry the prince, not kiss him. (http://hca.gilead.org.il/li_merma.html)

Snow White is actually pretty similar, but first the queen tries to suffocate her by lacing her too tight into a corset, and then she tries to kill her with a poisoned comb, before finally resorting to an apple.

With Cinderella, of course there's not talking mice, but in order to go the ball Cinderella has to pick pans of lentils out of ashes, but birds do help her. A bird brings her a dress, and there was no midnight deadline. (http://www.familymanagement.com/literacy/grimms/grimms16.html)

In Aladdin, he does get trapped in the cave because a sorcerer double-crosses him, but he rubs a magic ring to get out. When he gets home, he rubs the lamp and a much more powerful djinni appears. He wishes himself riches and marries a princess. Nowhere does the djinni wish for freedom. The sorcerer comes back and convinces Aladdin's wife to trade 'new lamps for old'.

Hope this helps!

What if a police officer arrests someone and then says just kidding?

Monday, December 28th, 2009

Could a cop get in trouble for that?
Is that charge against the officer called a false arrest? or could it be an assaulu? i was very intimidated

That sounds like false arrest, and if it happened to you than you should file a complaint. That is a clear abuse of power,
and the cop should have to answer for it.
If you can prove it happened, you could even file a lawsuit.

Victim of the Joke?: An Opera

Monday, December 28th, 2009

Victim of the Joke?: An Opera
Victim of the Joke?: An Opera is a concept album of sorts, the songs linked together by dialogue based around a thin romantic plot. The tunes (including both originals and surprising covers of the Beatles' "Help" and the Tin Pan Alley tune "The Masquerade Is Over") are okay, but not special, treading closer to pop-soul than the grittier tone of many of Porter's '60s compositions with Hayes. Porter's voice, again, is okay but unremarkable. While the construction of the LP was a laudably ambitious outing by early '70s soul standards, the results weren't all that interesting; indeed, the thematic "concept" (of a typically rocky love affair) that drives the album is pretty simple and innocuous.
